  4. Copy everything from this disk into a directory on your hard drive.
  5. For example, if your hard drive is C: and you insert this disk into A:,
  6. you might follow these steps to install Morning Star:
  7.  
  8. MD C:\SAVERS
  9. COPY A:\*.* C:\SAVERS
  10.  
  11.  
  12. Once everything is copied onto your hard drive, you can either load one of
  13. the screen savers manually, or you can add a line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
  14. to automatically load one of them.  You might follow these steps to add
  15. VGA Moire to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
  16.  
  17.   1. Type  EDIT C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
  18.   2. Now you'll want to move the cursor to an appropriate place and insert a
  19.      line.  A good place might be the last line.  If your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
  20.      loads some kind of menu or desktop system, then you will probably want
  21.      to load VGA Moire before the menu system.
  22.   3. Now insert a line like this:
  23.        C:\SAVERS\VGAMOIRE /I
  24.   4. Then type Alt-F followed by X.  Hit Y to save the changes.

  65. Deleting Files to Save Space
  66. ============================

  68. If you want to save disk space and are not using one or more of the screen
  69. savers, you can safely delete the files for the other ones.  Just refer to
  70. the "Contents" section above, and delete the files you don't need.  The
  71. screen savers don't look at each other's files, so deleting all the Morning
  72. Star files will not affect VGA Moire or Morning Star XMS.  (The screen savers
  73. only share one file, which is the MORNSTAR.INI configuration file that
  74. MSCONFIG.EXE will create for you.)
