- Installation:
- =============
-
- Copy everything from this disk into a directory on your hard drive.
- For example, if your hard drive is C: and you insert this disk into A:,
- you might follow these steps to install Morning Star:
-
- MD C:\SAVERS
- COPY A:\*.* C:\SAVERS
-
-
- Once everything is copied onto your hard drive, you can either load one of
- the screen savers manually, or you can add a line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
- to automatically load one of them. You might follow these steps to add
- VGA Moire to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
-
- 1. Type EDIT C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
- 2. Now you'll want to move the cursor to an appropriate place and insert a
- line. A good place might be the last line. If your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
- loads some kind of menu or desktop system, then you will probably want
- to load VGA Moire before the menu system.
- 3. Now insert a line like this:
- C:\SAVERS\VGAMOIRE /I
- 4. Then type Alt-F followed by X. Hit Y to save the changes.
-
-
- See the individual documentation files for information on loading the
- different screen savers.
-

- Deleting Files to Save Space
- ============================
-
- If you want to save disk space and are not using one or more of the screen
- savers, you can safely delete the files for the other ones. Just refer to
- the "Contents" section above, and delete the files you don't need. The
- screen savers don't look at each other's files, so deleting all the Morning
- Star files will not affect VGA Moire or Morning Star XMS. (The screen savers
- only share one file, which is the MORNSTAR.INI configuration file that
- MSCONFIG.EXE will create for you.)
